NATYA IDOL is a platform to showcase, talents of young Indian Classical dancers. It started in 2012 in Saint Louis as a part of American Natya Festival. It has gone through 7 such competitions. This year we are expanding it across many cities of USA.

This competition is purely for education purpose only. Our aim is to promote healthy competition among students, and inspire them to walk towards the pursuit of perfection. For this reason, we share the scores of the judges to each individual, which will help them improve on differenta aspects of the dancing.

There are ups and downs, wins and losses, happiness and sad moments in this competition, just like life. But, it teaches what it needs to a successful in life. It teaches the patience, perseverance, humility and dedication as needed for the path of perfection.

Students with exceptional ability will be given performance opportunities in India and USA.

We will be issued both Paper and Digital certificate.

Cut-off Age will be decided based on the previous day of the competition.

Following are the time limits for each groups.

Junior (8-11 years): 5 minutes maximum
Intermediate (12-15): 7 minutes maximum
Advanced (16- 21): 10 minutes maximum.
Adults (22 & Above): 10 minutes maximum.
Group - Junior (8-11 years): 5 minutes maximum
Group - Seniors (12 & Above): 7 minutes maximum

Best candidates will be chosen to perform in 2025 American Natya Festival and in NRI Dance Festival in Bengaluru.
